Reality Shift Deluxe

Reality Shift is a fast-paced 3D racing & battle board game set in a retro virtual reality world. The racetrack is made of large 64mm magnetic cubes whose facings have different paths on them.

Your goal is to move your light bike along these paths from cube to cube and be the first to get from the Start to the Finish.  Your light bike is not constrained by gravity though and can move along any accessible path on the tops and sides of the cubes.

Movement is gained on your Turn by rolling the Movement Die and by playing an Action Card from your hand of three cards. Being fast is not enough though.

In addition to playing an Action Card for movement, you may also play an Action Card each turn that will Slide, Rotate, Flip and Tilt a Reality Cube, creating a track that is always shifting.

Don’t have a path to the finish? Transform the board to make one. Is an opponent in the lead? Change the track to block their way or just crush them with a Reality Cube, forcing them to respawn.

It is important to position your racer strategically. An opponent cannot move a cube when your colored light bike is on a cube face of a matching color. You can also give up some movement on a turn to drop a Check Point, allowing you to respawn there instead of back at the start.
